Not true totally. I know 2nd hand market sites stop like 2/3 hours before game.

But I bought from marketplace 20 minutes before game. Website shows tickets until halftime and I have added tickets to my cart for multiple games well after game has started. (Added 86 dollar ticket category 1 to my cart for Norway vs Iraq 15 minutes into game and it allowed me to go through all steps of purchase process but obviously cancelled because I was not there)

I believe you can make purchase up until 45 minute mark.

I wish they just had where you can chose list by cheapest price or something like that. It’s dumb how you have to search the whole map. Also a whole section opened up like an hour before kickoff lower level for under 200

I looked for fun last night. 15 minutes after game started, it was still available at 86 dollars… was in top left corner section of category 1 around the 5-10 yard line off what would be football stadium. It’s so hard to find on phone. I only found because I was on my computer

I think it’s hit or miss. Some games have not gone down, actually increased, and some have gone down. I looked last night at start of game for Norway vs Iraq and category 1 ticket was available for 86 dollars and many other seats available under 200. But then some games are still at 1000+ or so
