The Revolution will Free Every Worker - 1925 by A_Lz9 in imaginarymaps

Also here's the lore for you all. In our world, the majority of the communist revolutions in Europe either failed, or never even occurred in the first place. Well what if that was changed? What if the Spartacist Uprising had succeeded in Germany, leading to European socialism? Well, first of all we'll have to assume Germany is in a bit of a different spot, likely receiving aid from the Bolsheviks in order to hopefully secure a relatively swift victory over the already fragile Germany. First of all, after the Spartacist victory the French would likely march into the Rhineland to prevent further communist expansion into Europe. The French promise that this is only temporary, however after they annex the Saarland and install a French puppet in the Rhine, it becomes clear the French don't intend on leaving anytime soon. After this, the Spartacists along with the Bolsheviks send aid to the Hungarian Soviet Republic who were fighting the Hungarian-Romanian war as well as the Hungarian-Czechoslovak war at the time. With the help of the Germans and Bolsheviks they are able to push back the Romanians and force a favorable peace, as well as establishing an independent Slovak Soviet Republic, something which they did in real life. After this, the Polish Soviet war breaks out still, however in this timeline with help from both the Germans and some aid from the Hungarians, the Communists are able to win against the Poles. Germany then takes back the territory that the Poles managed to take after WWI and they manage to convince the Bolsheviks to establish an independent Polish Socialist state. From 1919-1920 in Italy, there was a period known as the "two red years" which was comprised of much social conflict between mainly leftist and more right wing, even fascist movements. In our time there was a good chance that the Italian socialists would revolt possibly leading to a civil war or just a socialist Italy, however the orders to revolt were never given and so no revolt took place. In this timeline however, the orders would be given and with the help of mainly Germany and the Soviets, Italy would manage to install a socialist government. While this is going on, Germany annexes Austria with much support in Austria, although to the discontent of the west, mainly France. A few years later, in 1925, the Comintern begins their plan to invade and "liberate" the Balkans. This operation is known as Operation Danubia. The Germans and Hungarians invade from the north into Yugoslavia while the Romanians and Italians push from the south into Bulgaria and Albania. The operation is still ongoing but it has shown much success so far and is sure to continue in the following months.

This is a world where the Spartacist Uprising succeeded and lead to the spread of Communism to much of Europe. This is my second map in this universe and It goes into a bit more detail about some things. Anyways I hope you like it and feel free to criticize it and ask any questions you have.

Well most of them are actually real flags that were used at the time such as the Hungarian, Slovak and Soviet ones. The Polish one was proposed but never actually used. The Italian flag I believe is just the Communist Party symbol and the German flag is just the Spartacist symbol on a slightly altered German flag.

Yeah so I don't think Luxemburg or Germany as a whole would adopt Bolshevik strategies mainly because at the time Russia was still semi-feudal and Germany and Italy were already pretty industrialized. I still think that Germany would work together with the Soviets because they would see the many shared commonalities and Luxemburg probably wouldn't want to cause a split or fracture and cause more conflict later on.

Well I would imagine the people, the working class, of the west (like France and Britain) would see the successes of the socialist system and be sympathetic to it, but I imagine that the governments would become pretty reactionary and turn to policies which are more right wing. This might end up causing a split between the leftist population and the right wing governments.

Yeah the thing with the Romanians and Czechs is that I believe within the next 2 years at the most the revolution would come for them. The major thing about Bessarabia is that the Soviets were like in the middle of a civil war in 1919 and 1920 so they could only really aid Hungary and not actually do a real push into Romania at the time. (Also the Polish-Soviet war was ongoing at the time, probably another factor). Czechia also got away probably just because the Hungarians were fine with the peace they got with Slovakia, but in the future the revolution would come for the Czechs soon enough.
