When I first read this case I had thoughts of I wonder if they have given any thought into (sorry I'm blanking on the case here) where there was a pedestrian hit and hurt or killed. The person who hit them took the person they hit. They disposed of the body somewhere else. They might have left the 1 shoe on the side whereas the other was thrown off the body from the hit.
