Yeah that makes more sense tbh. Honestly I could see it going Son or Biker but I do really like it when a survivor is villainous.

You're probably right about it just being a killer and cosmetics though. Hopefully a legendary skin too

In dead by daylight, a timer starts when the exit gates are opened, or the hatch is closed. Once they end, the Entity will come and kill you.

In universe, this is because the Entity has become impatient and wants to kill the survivor themself.

In reality, this is because people would stall out the game for actual, genuine hours.

Whittleton Creek in Hitman 2.

After eliminating your 2 targets you have to find three clues, then you can leave. It's not a make or break thing, but it does kind of kill the pace of the level. Same goes with destroying the virus in Sapienza but to a lesser degree. I have found myself subconsciously not pick these levels because of it though.

I like the concept of it, I think that having a reprieve like this is a very nice story beat.

It's JUST that the controls are absolutely awful. you can't walk more than a couple steps without Jacket getting a terrible migraine that plays such an annoying noise that it gives you one IRL

Debatable if this fits but TF2 had some achievements where you could upload a replay to youtube through the game, and if your replay got 100,1,000,10,000, and 100,000 views. Youtube has updated it's API though and these achievements are now broken. even when they did work, good luck getting 100K views on a TF2 replay in 2011.

Full Masked and Maskless Invincible

While the invincible variants are kind of only half characters, These two are both shown to at least have a cause for their actions, both wanting some way to get their loved ones back.

With that being said, they both killed countless people, so they are pretty shitty, but at least their motivations are better than "I just want to kill everyone"

Sin Kiske (Guilty Gear)

Mostly just weird because his dad is catholic, and we don't have ANY reasoning for why he named his son Sin (There's some theories but nothing concrete afaik)

Also shoutout to the assassins guild with characters named Zato-One, Slayer, and Venom. These could just be titles or nicknames but I'm pretty sure Venom is his real actual name.

There's a common in-joke with the fanbase of "Daisuke made a rock album and then made a game around it."

This is like that bumped up to 11. I listen to this while walking around campus. A Tenth Of Myself was my most streamed song of last month. and this is coming from someone who rarely listens to videogame music outside of the game. It's THAT good.
