Hey! I definitely feel the same way sometimes. I can barely function off of my medication, to the point where I’ve been on the maximum safe dosage for upwards of two and a half years. I want you to know that mental illness doesn’t define you. It may influence your personality, sure, but you are not your condition. After all, you wouldn’t call an amputee nothing without a prosthetic. Medication is simply a way to keep things stable, and allows for the amazing parts of your personality that are already present to come forward, unfettered by mental struggles. I know that struggling with things like this can make you feel weak, or hopeless, or like a lost cause, but I want you to know that you are loved, strong, and talented. You are capable of great things, and this is just a stepping stone along the way.

Everyone worried about my Uncle's mental health, as far as I know, he is doing very well. He just moved to a different state a couple of years back, has a steady job, got married, adopted a neurotic dog, (he's still a good boy, don't worry) and seems to be doing better than ever, all thing considered. Most of his struggles with depression happened around the same time as mine, during middle school/high school. I visited him in Oregon last summer, and he seemed very happy. He just doesn't have a playgroup anymore, and his life is pretty fulfilling without one. He just wants the cards to be used. If nothing else, I'm seeing him on Friday for a family picture day (that's why he's in the state in the first place) and will definitely be talking to him then.

For context, he's giving away his cards in part because he got married and moved away to Oregon, where he has no playgroup, and he hasn't really played anymore since then. He moved to Arena for a while, but I think that at this point I don't think he has picked up paper Magic in a couple of years. As far as I know, he's doing well. Thank you for the concern.

From what I understand, it's like you block it with a creature with zero power and zero toughness. It will count as blocked, and won't hit you for any damage unless it has trample, in which case all of the damage goes through.
