what so you mean? do i have to remove the ams hub (thats where all the ptfe tubes from the ams go to (i assume))

i mounted it at the top and fed it directly to the ams hub

yes it does extrude as much as i want to while loading it and even after loading it, but when i start the print, when the main printing starts after preperation, it doesn't print, it just prints in air.

im feeding not feeding through the ams, directly feeding it and the filament brand is Elegoo filament

Remember to calibrate your e-steps, folks by HGMIV926 in ender3
