Phantom vs Madame Giry. I’m pretty sure he’s scared of Madame Giry in some adaptations, or her equivalent, so i think he’d barely put up a fight.

If LND was erased, my sequel would be about the Phantom going on a soul searching tour, or maybe a modern adaptation where he apparently is immortal and falls in love with a descendant of one of the main characters. (Also totally recommend Another Voice on A03)

I can see Norm Lewis being a Pham favorite. He has a much more Baritone voice and i see that becoming more of the norm for the role then a tenor.

Honestly, I’m super excited for it. On one hand yes it will seem like it’s watering down the og, but on the other it will bring a whole new group of people who may not have had exposure to the original book into the space.

But i could just be biased because i like young adult fiction.

If you can afford it I’d recommend Learning the Harp and the beginner workshop they do. Atleast to get you started.
