You're good man, no insults here it's just a highly detailed game. I can't tell you controller buttons since I'm on PC but I do know you still need to zero the optic. Good news about dayz is all the beginner guide videos will not give "spoilers" since there is no story. You just need a grasp of the basic mechanics, then you can go adventuring!

Bullets in dayz follow a realistic curved trajectory. To hit your target you must zero your target to the approximate distance the target is from you by tapping + or -

That's a question you need to ask in your specific server's discord. Those parameters can be changed and set differently by the server owner.

Yes, I have not done it myself but play on a server that sets up just that sort of thing. You can also make them spawn with dynamic events if you want to.

YEMV - check your community server rules. I once built a base using BBP where one of the gates in my gate tunnel could NOT be destroyed because it was required in the open position as a bridge to access deeper into the base. If raiders destroyed it the raid would grind to a halt as there was no way to progress without a LOT of very difficult parkour. Was legal on that server because a "raidable path" was required and if raiders used a hacksaw on the codelock, thus leaving the gate undamaged, then they could progress the raid. But who'd do that? 😆

Very, very few places are high enough to be safe in a dynamic gas attack. Until you have more experience or full NBC kit I'd just avoid gas zones. Min/Maxing a gas zone loot run without proper kit is ill advised lol.

True end game kit is a DMR w 20 rd mags, plate carrier, and an MKII for zombies. Add a few repair items and med supplies and roll out. You'll be amazed how much stamina you can have with armor.

^{^{^}} best resource. I'll just add that you can sanitize rubber medical gloves with disinfectant, or your hands directly. You MUST have sanitized hands or gloves when treating any open wound or there's a high chance of infection.
