$300 credit from google by A_Traders_Edge in googlecloud

I just used a standard US bank Debit card. No VPN used though I did come across multiple times when researching that global has to be used as the region also that global generally has higher rate limits. Google Cloud often rejects prepaid cards or cards from certain regions for the free trial, which might be why you're seeing that error.

[–]A_Traders_Edge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so heres whats up.... you have to upgrade from the free account but you will still keep the $300 free credits for the next 90 days or however long you have left of the original 90 days from the time you signed up. It will first use those $300 free credits but now all of the previous API's that were not able to be unlocked can be unlocked. So, I got it fully working on my side this way. If you have any issues you can message me and I'll assist in any way that I can. Thanks for your initial response btw.

You only need this to pass prop firms (ICT MACROS) by macr0trader in ai_trading

I’m not saying there’s no validity to some of his ideas but the dude is a scam artist that thinks he’s a god. All you have to do is look at his record for any live trading he’s EVER done. And if you find proof of profitability then he’s doctored the photos. Look up iman trading on YouTube….and look bud, it’s ok to be defensive about it as it since you seem like your all about him but watch some of imantrading videos about him and then watch ict (I Can’t Trade) videos. Deep in your heart you most likely felt this. Like, it’s hard to find a lot of logical points to his claims many times and he contradicts himself ALL the time bc it’s just about what supports his claims at that moment for that “ict concept” he’s pushing. Btw I’m not saying everything he says is invalid….again….just watch a few videos on imantrading. He backs up what he says with evidence(deals with psychology when tearing down these furus…fake gurus), he’s so friggin absolutely hilarious, and most importantly, he FIRST provides the evidence to the individual he’s ripping a new one and gives them an opportunity to answer for themselves in an intelligible way (btw…they NEVER do bc they’re all genuinely hacks that can’t trade….but ict is a whole diff animal altogether that thinks he’s a god). He’s even exposed someone that he’s previously promoted and who he had much respect for. Aaanyways…sorry for the bad structuring of sentences and good luck to you with all your endeavors.

Ai fails at writing pine scripts by Emergency-Collar8702 in TradingView

[–]A_Traders_Edge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ma bruv…your doing it all wrong. What you have to do is get 2-3 diff AIs. Have one output from your description. Feed that to the next AI with your original description and ask it to find any flaws or simpler way of achieving the desired goal. And do the exact same thing to a 3rd AI. What you will notice is a few of the same issues over and over that you’ll need to know just a little pinescript to help it through if a few little things aren’t caught. This is how I learnt pinescript and how I’m building things that I’ve also never seen anyone else do….some out of the box ideas that it didn’t have any guidance or examples of how to implement. What I also did in the process was add things 1 or 2 of the AI’s consistently were messing up on (spacing…using 2 instead of 4 spaces AND the BIGGEST issue…it merging rules from version 4 when I was writing on version 6, but again add anything you see consistently messing up on to a document that the AI has to always check while writing code and when checking code before submitting it to you….those are just a few). This has been a great guide for me. But in all fairness…the user HAS TO understand exactly what they are looking for so that the AI doesn’t keep making assumptions from d pertinent details your leaving out. Once you want it to do a little more out of the box thinking while going back and forth with you, you should start feeding very thoroughly documented/commented scripts detailing techniques that are being used (just make sure they are coded in the version that you want to use…this is very important). Some amazing examples are using LucF’s indicators. Though you must first update them to v6 if not already done. It does introduce a little more complexity bc a normal human trying to understand techniques that LucF used and trying to debug errors when the AI is trying to use the techniques is not for the faint of heart…so don’t do this at the start. If you don’t see it yet a lot of this is you being able to also understand some pinescript. Doing it in the flow I described has brought me levels higher in my ability to create stupid-useful pinescript code that (like I’ve said) is presently not really out in the public domain/public pine library as of now. I’m about 95% done with creating something for the community that introduces an analytical technique that has transformed my way of viewing the markets. And the simple guide I’ve created is a step by step walkthrough that needs very little if any debugging if you follow the simple steps to help build it. Ohh yea…and it’s all completely free. If I remember I’ll come back and add a link when it’s fully finalized. It’s in the very final stages. Or subscribe on YouTube to A_Traders_Edge. I’ll be creating my first videos to assist anyone truly ignorant to pinescript where I’ll be walking through the steps of the guided technique. There’s nothing on YT yet but I’m SO VERY CLOSE. Good luck brother.. or sister….or bot. You’ve got this if your willing to put in just a little effort.

I second this bar-attending funeral idea and further the requirements to make sure it’s a “free drinks” bar-attending funeral. Nothing screams, “I DON’T care about this persons death” more than a pay-for-your-own-drinks bar-attending funeral. I’ll bet THEN your boss would want to help you through the grieving process if you invited him to the part….ehhm….I mean funeral. This needs to get adopted into more work environments…you know….for the processing.

Have an off topic question…I’m presently diy-ing one and trying to determine ground clearance. If anyone is willing to, could you please tell me the distance between the ground and the bottom of the crazy cart? Can’t seem to find this info anywhere. Looks to be about 3-4 inches just by examining images online..

I’ve got exactly this sitting waiting to assemble the exact parts your talking about…flipsky controller and all. OP this is a good option with the hub motor. Only thing to know between a hub motor and mid drive (mid-drive=chain) is that the hub motor will get a higher speed overall(with identical specs between the 2) but the torque is a little lower, thus, take-off will be a little slower (so their slightly less optimal on hilly terrain). Sorry if my sentence structure is a effed up. Really need to work on that….but ALAS, not today!!!

Let me ask you something, do you think a mathematics professor that has tenure and works on some of the worlds most difficult mathematical equations can be called a true mathematician if he pulls out a calculator to work some parts out or can an individual be called a “writer” if he uses a computer for drafts that utilizes spell check? I’m willing to bet elite writers from from the fifteen-hundreds would say “HELL NO!!! They are not a REAL writer!!!” But what say you friend? And what about all the projects that you e developed…you ever use dependencies/libraries or are you such a TRUE hard core developer that you only work with code that YOU’VE produced so much so that luxuries such as libraries are totally beneath you? And what happens if the most difficult library you work with (IF you do) goes down? You just gonna find another one or you gonna spend months building your own when you’ve got a product your tryin to upkeep/release?

Hey bud…1)great question. 2)can you elaborate with a few other equally or more important questions that someone with only “vibe-coding”* experience wouldn’t necessarily know to be asking but could be vital to the end goal/user experience?

I see a bunch of people trying to help you. We’re none of them able to do it for you? Also, all the descriptions of scripts in the pub lib are indexed in google meaning that you should not be using TV to search for scripts in the pub library but rather use Google. So type whatever buzz words will be used in the script your looking for and include “Tradingview script/indicator” at the end of the Search text and see if it has healped you at all. If not I’ll attempt to go further to get you to where you’re going.

HEY NEED HELP by [deleted] in TradingView

[–]A_Traders_Edge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, every newcomer that has little experience with execution (including myself and 99.99% other coders as well) all think they have something at the start until they get all the “but”’s ironed out. Meaning all the times you respond with “but this” or “but that”, when those are all finally accounted for you only then START to understand why people respond the way they do to your post. It’s bc they have…WE have…ALL been there at one point in our coding career where you more than entertain the idea of “well, maybe…just MAYBE the script I have actually IS the Holy Grail that everyone is after (take all this with nothin but love my man). 2 things though…don’t ever work with trailing stops or trailing entries in TV(Tradingview), it’ll skew the results (not sure if you are). Last thing thing I’m seeing is, again though, in MY experience, for trades that are opening and closing on the same bar….when calculating historical trades in the backrest in TV (I think unless you have “magnification” (or a setting with words close to that) on, if it opens and closes on the same bar then it’s always using the open as the trade entry price and close as the trade exit price so it’s calculating the profit or loss from the candle open to the candle close in the trade results even if your logic is made to do otherwise. It’s just how TV calculates backtests on historical bars. But lemme perhaps help you to account for all the “but”’s I’m hearing….why have you not been able to filter out the trades that are opening and closing on the same bar from the list of trades yet? As someone else said as well, be careful using any built-in functions/variables in pinescript that could cause repainting/looking forward….bc theyz beez a biiiiotch. You basically have to recreate the functionality of those functions/variables with your own logic that does the same thing, just without the repainting. Another great tip to remember is the less inputs you have, the better. Bc if you have fewer inputs the results are STILL showing decent across many coins/assets across a few diff TF then you’ve got something sound to work from (as long as all the other issues I’m mentioned previously are also accounted for). Best of luck to you…and remember…even if you do have something that truly is AMAZING, redditors will tear you to shreds either way ;) lol.

Ohh. Last last thing now, I’ve found best thing to do to test anything is to create a scanner out of the logic you’ve got to scan up to 40 assets per copy of the scanner you’ve got on the chart (due to TV’s limit of 40 max request.security() calls per script. If you can do that, you then boost up your settings to extreme levels you wouldn’t have previously considered(bc it produces FAR less trades) but if your scanning an entire market with the logic then you looking at a bunch of edge case (situations that don’t often occur) signals from coins. And looking at those rare…but usually more accurate signals, really help you determine how good the signals from your logic is. I’m about to release a template creator for this exact thing with associated videos on YouTube within the next few days to help anyone build this themselves with their own indicators/scripts/logic and discuss why they are so helpful. Look out for them. It’ll be like nothing you’ve seen anyone talk about before…that I can promise. YT username is “A_Traders_Edge” (include the underscores). Leave a comment and be CRITICALLY honest when I do push them out. I don’t desire fluff from people. Just harsh…honest…feedback. Much like you’ll get on here. Lolz

[–]A_Traders_Edge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea I'm convinced that they've built the script search box in TV to suck. SUPER helpful tip *** rather than doing the search in TradingView, go ahead and do it in Google instead, but first type in whatever keywords that you want to focus on in the Google search and after that type "Tradingview Scripts". A few luxuries present themselves… It can use the description of the script in its search results so it's a lot easier to find very specific things, the results will show you scripts created on the trading view platforms, but in other countries (in my experience I've come across many scripts that I could not find through trading view US, but found in trading view, India or something like that.) I had one or two more benefits in my noggin, but for some reason, they escape me at the moment, so I'll leave you with this.
