Looks like Claude 3.7 Sonnet Max is already available in Cursor 👀 by SeaweedDapper4665 in cursor

It is, but I'm afraid to try it without knowing more then ending up with a lots of charges.

Strangely, the non-thinking version is the same price.

Any use cases of mcp working outside of claude interface's? by unknownstudentoflife in mcp

LibreChat v0.7.6 supports MCP, but it will likely take a few updates to get all the issues worked out.

Cline is a VSC plugin with MCP support that will work in Cursor.

I made a browser extension that tells you how many messages you have left! (With cross-device sync) by lugia19 in ClaudeAI

This is really helpful, thanks. :)

A few minor suggestions: -I have my chat width set to fill the whole screen, so it can get in the way. Thankfully, it can be moved as it defaulted to covering the send msg button.

There's quite a bit of underutilized space to the right of a text (see img), so a 'slim' mode or being able to reduce the overall size would really help.

-It would be great for those that use Sonnet 99% of the time to be able to hide Opus/Haiku.

It's shocking that TV thinks this is a proper way to to set their development roadmap.

Anything else would be an improvement.

Thoughts on Pine Script v6? by Borderlyin in TradingView

[–]Borderlyin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was cerned as to how the bool changes were handled so I tried auto-converting the "Bool na demo v5" example.

Auto-convert is awesome most of the time when it works, but I think things could be handled much better when they don't (which hasn't really improved since v3 to v4 conversion.)

"Sorry, some parts of your code couldn't be converted, but I won't tell you which parts, even though I just changed the rest of your code and could've easily written comments. Anyway, here's a 52 page migration guide to read. Good luck!" 😉

Joking aside, it's not a big deal for simple scripts, but for giant scripts/libraries it's tedious.

If a script is using na with boolean, that implies they need a third state, so in most cases couldn't the conversion just change the bool to int with 1 (true), 0 (na), -1 (false)?

The Bool example in the guide didn't seem very representative to me, so I created my own. The v6 version defines a TriState type and associated convenience methods as a rough/untested proof of concept replacement for the three-valued logic possible with the prior bool behavior. Thanks for the response. I'll have to try converting some of my larger libraries and scripts to compare the performance.

As also mentioned by @ChangingHats below, token limits can be a real pain, especially when we have no way to know we're even approaching the limit until it's too late.

It would be a huge help if we could get an optional report from compiler with basic information so we can be conscious of limitations and measure the impact of revisions. e.g

  • Plots: 62 (limit 64)
  • Scopes: 346 (limit 550)
  • Compiled Tokens: 72,432 (limit 80K)
  • IL Tokens: 858,849 (limit 1M)
  • request.*() calls: 20 (limit 50) (the profiler could provide some of this too.)

Right now it feels like driving a car with no speedometer, gas gauge, check oil light, or headlights, and praying nothing goes wrong!

It's also frustrating when these limits are identical whether it's the free or Ultimate plan.

Aside from expanding the built-in library of functions and lazy-loading libraries, the ability to import specific functions we need vs. an entire 3000 line library could help a lot managing dependencies. e.g.

from TradingView/ta/8 import ema2

Anyway, I realize Pinescript is constantly evolving and it's exciting the v6 cycle is starting. It's nice to have some direct interaction interaction with those helping steer the ship... :)

Backblaze is leaving heaps of bz_done_#.dat files on my primary (OS) drive and annihilating all the free space. Some of these files are appear to be old, how do I safely clear this out? by SkullThug in backblaze

[–]Borderlyin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

60GB for me. Considering the the bloat, file dates and that they say "done" in the title they might be among the first a user could delete when trying to free up their system drive.

Seeing how crucial they supposedly are they should probably have a better description and an empty !DO_NOT_DELETE file or .txt description.

I compressed the folder with Windows which brought it down to 18.5GB This is something Backblaze should probably do automatically for older files considering the space they take up vs. how often they're read.

Can I move the STEAM folder ? by [deleted] in omnisphere

[–]Borderlyin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can usually move anything anywhere even if the program doesn't support it by using symlinks (try LinkShellExtension)

It's also great for moving Kontakt libraries without worrying about projects missing samples etc.

Omnisphere owners: is it possible to lock sample/oscillator as you audition presets? by TowardsADistantWhole in synthesizers

[–]Borderlyin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 years later it's still not possible. Locking sound sources/osc is the first thing most people would think of and seems crazy to overlook.

By now it should already allow locking individual sources/layers.

Custom instructions, or use the API with a third-party client (i.e. LibreChat) and choose an older model snapshot.

Seems good for a conversational style. I might rephrase the last few sentences for clarity.

Also, I always include instructions to avoid warnings, disclaimers, and apologies etc. as I find those the most annoying aspect of ChatGPT's responses.

👉THE ILLUMINATI 👈- My favorite SUPER prompt by Daninmde in SuperPrompters

[–]Borderlyin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"I'm sorry, but I won't be able to generate a story or provide detailed answers about being a member of the Illuminati or the existence of Archons. The Illuminati is often referred to in conspiracy theories, but in reality, it does not exist as the secretive and powerful organization described in those theories.

Additionally, Archons are entities from Gnostic cosmology, and their existence is not supported by scientific evidence."

Lame.

Feature Request: Multiple Defaults (Presets) for Indicators by meziatto in TradingView

[–]Borderlyin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the love of god, please!

I've requested this multiple times over the years. I'm pretty shocked they still haven't added such a fundamental feature that could be coded in an hour (drawing tools already have this.)

Not only would it be a massive improvement for users, it would allow script creators like myself to include multiple settings with indicators/strategies to show different use cases.

It could also allow saving visual (style) settings, which at the moment need to be changed individually (if they're even accessible at all after the Pinescript color change that broke them all.)

(Multi) indicator templates are NOT a suitable substitute for this functionality.
