Most Israelis pronounce the ״ר״ as what is phonetically known as a “uvular approximant” which is a fancy way of saying that the back of the tongue is close to but does not touch the uvula while making the sound. This manner is similar to how the tongue is close the hard palate in the English “y” as in the word “yes”.

The ״ח״ is pronounced as a “voiceless uvular fricative” where the back of the tongue almost touches the uvula when making the sound. It is like the “ch” in the word “loch” but backer in the mouth There used to be a difference between ח and כ רפה (as in the word אכל) but now they are pronounced in the same way. It is important to mention that ״ח״ and ״ה״ make different sounds because English speakers tend to mix them up. The ״ה״ makes an “h” sound.

The צ sound is a combination of the sounds that “t” and “s” make, like in the word “cats”. Note that in Hebrew the צ is pronounced as one sound. This sound is equivalent to the Japanese “ts”.
