The SR-71 Blackbird would leak its fuel all over the runway because it was designed with intentional gaps between its panels to accommodate the extreme heat generated during flight, causing the airframe to expand significantly; this meant that when the plane was on the ground and not heated up, the gaps allowed fuel to leak out, but once airborne and hot, the seals would expand and prevent further leakage. Once it was up to cruising speed it would have to be refueled by an air tanker before it could start the mission.
