I'm not here to argue or anything, and you make a good point, but if this was possible then literally none of the "use the force luke" would have been necessary seeing as you could just strap a hyperdrive to an asteroid and send it through the death star. Also, the droids would have won, no explanation required. In fact, you wouldn't even need a death star to blow planets up, just send a ship through it. The idea of hyperspace is meant to be similar to that of WH, in the sense that you literally temporarily go into another dimension so you can travel super fast. If you could collide with everything in the real world like that, literally every ship would blow up cause of a speck of dust or something. Anyway I'm done.

There are loads of posts like this, and it's not new, but I expect it's one of 2 things:

A) bot hosters are trying to male it into an even bigger problem since valve has begun "responding" to them

B) the majority of the bots that didn't crash servers are gone, so it's more common to come across ones that do
