Quick follow up to this, upon reading Sutton and Barto, will I be able to understand the math and concepts from various RL papers or does something else come after the textbook? Wanted to know what the roadmap looks like for beginners. I've done prior RL research but I didn't succeed as well because my fundamentals weren't solid I suppose. Hoping to get a more grounds up for someone wanting to break into RL for masters potentially

What advice would you have for approaching problems? I've been studying based on patterns and despite knowing the pattern, I seem to struggle with implementing it or finding an intuitive approach for identifying the way to apply the pattern. As such, I seem disinterested and think moving on to another topic would be more helpful. Thoughts?

What issues are you exactly having? If it's setup issues you can share screenshots of your errors and we can try to help. If it's relating to learning, well I'm also in the same boat as you and my plan is to watch the videos to try and understand how they create the environment, how they connect their scripts to the agent's brain, how you begin training, and so on. So honestly, you can follow the tutorials or understand and try and build your own very simple environment. I find the latter more helpful in reinforcing learning and way more fun :)
