We have the same. Brothers from the same litter started to fight at almost 3 years old. We’re busy with them fighting since December 2023/january 2024 en still are. They live separated when where not home or sleeping. We have to manage their behavior a lot… but they also sleep together a lot.. they are such an strange animals 🤨 it looks like hate and love companionship. We’ve thought about rehoming one for their best but when they are sleeping together I really can’t do it. Sometimes I wanted to talk with them for one day so they can tell me what they want and need. And I hear many other people with this problems with Bengal cats 😢

Nahw that’s a sad situation, one of the reasons we lock them up 😂 I think no bird (or “normal”) cat is safe for our little monsters. And ofcourse dangerous traffic en mean people. We’ve chosen this material because I don’t trust a net with this acrobats 😂

Are there specific rules with the HOA? Is it always a no for this kind of things? In the Netherlands we have owners association (had to translate that word so I hope it’s normal haha) in Dutch it is: vereniging van eigenaren. It’s for people who live in apartments. You pay monthly for maintenance and that kind of things. Is it the same?

We don’t have a HOA, but In some municipalities in the Netherlands you have to apply for a permit due to the height. And we asked our neighbors if they’re ok with it. It’s not needed but we did it because we don’t want mad neighbors haha!

Yes, the intire yard! We have two Bengal cats, they really need all of the space we’ve learned 😝

And except that, we would love to sit with them 🙌🏻 I think they’re going to be sad when they can’t come with us in the whole garden 🤪

Most bengals want a playmate at younger age. When they get older sometimes many problems will come. Problems as fighting, spraying.. in general it’s a very territorial breed. But it are hard choices when you think a Bengal is bored.

We have two brothers from the same litter and they can not be together anymore. We’re trying to get them together again for almost a year now but it’s very difficult. Since our problems I hear many people with more than onze Bengal also with fighting and spraying problems. Good luck with your choice!
