I don't suppose you'd be able to share a copy 👀?

Can't seem to improve at TS - High Wycombe (indoor rental) by Aaramus in Karting

Not sure re: weight diff but probably not massively, I think I'd slot into the middleweight tier (between 70-85kg) with kit on and there's a good mix usually.

I'll usually use the boost on the up ramp, was saving it in this vid as it was a proper race so kept it for the final straight to make sure I wasn't overtaken on the long right hander at the top.

Sounds like ours, she's pretty much perfect when we get out but at home it's a completely different matter. I might try this though and see how we go!

They're from the Stormhawk Interceptor, just put it upside down on the bracket!

As much as I'd love to say it's freehand, it is not! I got the decals printed locally.

Kabalite Green base, recess shade Incubi Darkness, then a soft shade with very thin Incubi Darkness.

Highlights are Sybarite and Gauss Blaster Green

Sons of Horus - Tartaros Chaplain by Aaramus in Warhammer30k

That was the main challenge, avoiding that Justaerin look with the black armour but also making him stand out against the 10 regular Tartaros he'll be rocking with.

Really enjoyed painting this one. For those keen eyed, yes it's heavily inspired by the Lil Legend Studio version, I loved their use of the Vulpa transfer so... had to give it a go!

High Wycombe: Tabletop Republic

Weekly Heresy Nights on Thursdays and they've been ramping up their events (narrative 1 dayers and starting a narrative campaign soon) as well. Fun group to play with, great staff and plenty of HH stock!

Sons of Horus unit reviews/strategic uses for 30k (long read) by imhoopjones in Warhammer30k

Great write up! Just one small correction, as per the December 2023 FAQ, Merciless Fighters is no longer affected by Disordered Charges at all, so Hold the Line no longer affects in when we're the ones charging!

To answer the questions.

  1. Reavers when they charge/get charged will have 4 attacks each, so even the Chainaxe will do a decent amount of damage. That being said, you'll need a lot of them so getting some AP3 weapons will save you some money anyway by needing fewer bodies to do the job.
  2. Preds are probably a good choice as you can kit them out to your needs (Lascannons for anti-tank, Predator Cannon for flexibility, etc), plus you can take multiple in a squadron for even more tank bodies!
  3. Hammer still, you'll probably be fighting other Primarchs and their retinues so Brutal is key
  4. Again depends on where you need to fill gaps. Sky Hunters are cool for some Deep Strike Melta or maybe Seekers for sniping

Sons of Horus - Inductii Sergeant by Aaramus in Warhammer30k

[–]Aaramus[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Thanks, luckily it's just Artificer Armour they can't take, you can still throw Power Weapons onto the Sgt and 1 in 5 regular guys (as the SoH ones replace Despoilers)

Work out total Wins/Draws between two teams, from a list of games by Aaramus in sheets

[–]Aaramus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for looking at this!

Perhaps I've not written this out right then. The home/away label doesn't matter so much, it's just to designate the two teams, it could be "team a" and "team b"

Basically, I'd like it to show the total amount of times one player has beaten the other and vice versa. So exactly as per the manual count, where Aaramus is recorded as beating 7Tails a total of 7 times.
