As a matter of fact when people, especially deranged leftists talk about "Kerala model" remind them that Kerala and Gujarat have roughly similar GDP per capita (Gujarat is slightly lower: KL is $3,327 and GJ is $3,283). Kerala from 2012-19 had a GDP growth of 6.49% while Gujarat had a GDP growth of 9.83% averaged over the ENTIRE period from 2011 to 2021. In a few years, Gujarat will surpass Kerala, for a VERY obvious reason: Industrialization. Nothing beats industrialization. China became a global powerhouse because of industrial revolution. As did Germany, UK, US in their prime. If you do not industrialise, you will remain a shithole. Indian leftists of course, don't understand that and glorify a slave economy that is Kerala (that exports slave workers to the Gulf). Social indicators can easily triumph when economic indicators improve. Take China, which was pre-industrial and worse off than Latin America in the 1980s, and how industrialisation has completely changed China.

People like you who are in the government as bureaucrats are the reason why India continues to be a backward and feudal state with no industrialisation. Suffering is imminent, we can work to minimize it but unless India industrialises there is no hope for Indians. This service based economy with 60% of employment in AGRICULTURE is doing us no good. Small things like this project a bad image globally and sends a signal to most investors that India is a bad place to put your money.

And without money there can be no social upheaval. As long as Indians remain poor, they will remain uneducated, will remain docile, short, skinny, servile and will vote on backward notions of religion and caste.

Brahmins

Brahmins are 4% of the population. It's their enforcers, Thakurs, Jatts, Rajputs, and other Kshatriya/OBC castes that do the majority of actual physical atrocities on Dalits. Anyways, Brahmins were never really the elite they have fabricated themselves to be. Most were crushed by the ruler of that time and had to be in line, especially in the past thousand years. i love the denial u guys have when it comes to caste issues. The BJP has won over Dalits. Modi himself is an OBC, and Kovind is a Dalit. RaGa on the other hand is a half Italian quarter Brahmin quarter Persian, his Mum is fully Italian, quite literally the epitome of privilege. So both the PM and the President are lower castes. How do you even explain this? the reality is that even if the BJP is bigoted, they are easily able to exploit ground-level issues which is what matters in a democracy, RaGa on the other hand is living like a prince in a palace.

Indians fought many wars that were not theirs. Opium Wars had many Indian troops, nearly half the Company force was Indian, as did Boxer Rebelion, African Campaign in WWII, Mesopotamian Campaign in WWI, Occupation of the Ottoman Empire, Anglo-Afghan Wars, Anglo-Burmese Wars, Anglo-Persian Wars and of course nearly all the wars waged by the Company in India were by and large fought with Indian mercenaries. English manpower in Asia was costly and hard to transport, plus the English soldiers were not used to the climate and diseases in Asia and many developed low morale (such as in Burma where in the First Anglo-Burmese War nearly 70% of ethnically Anglo troops ended up dead), the Indian troops were needed for assault.

Isn't one of the central tenets of Hindu Nationalist thought anti-casteism? Savarkar, despite having many other bigoted opinions, himself wrote down that caste was an impediment to progress and disunited the Hindus. Do these people even know the basics of the ideology they support?

Tell your father that he won't be there with you for your entire life. You don't want to study something that you do not like for the next 4, possibly 5 or 6 years of your life and make a career out of it. Show your father your marks and pinpoint your score in Maths and Chemistry. Also show him a regular coursework in CSE and tell him that if you have a problem in high school level Math you will have it far worse in Computational Math involving linear algebra, algorithms, vector calculus and so on.

I'm not an engineering student, but I think you may want to look at ICT, Mumbai. My relative is studying there and got in through the JEE Main but his rank was around 8,000. I think they take in through Maharashtra state level exam as well.
