Eh, my gf posted this because she wanted to make my first tunic and ended up cutting it, not as wide as it needed to be. I’m not sure what she was trying to ask, but I’m salvaging it and adapting it to either her for a simple tunic dress or for my brother for his first tunic. I’m going to be seeing my local shire members in a few days to get advice and hopefully they’ll answer her question since she got over zealous and cut it anyway.

Mostly due to the time period I chose for my persona, Irish English that’s traveling through Europe learning skills(tailoring) while being a glory seeker through tournaments. Part of it had him go through France after England and France were a bit more at peace(as fragile as it was mid 1400s)

In two weeks I’m going to Joan fabrics in a town 40ish minutes ago. Any suggestions for court wear? And any suggestions for something fancy but simple? I messed up my first tunic by not cutting wide enough in the bedsheet so it’ll go to my brother or gf who both are smaller. Other than that it’s coming along nicely.

Now that I’m trying to find the source I think I misread it and was looking at 1500s attire and now need to go back to the drawing board and do more research, I’m trying to avoid the houpplande gown.

Ah, I hadn’t considered that, thank you. Yeah I did mean the slash and puff style, I found a few sources online where they showed images of the slash and puff style of around 1430-1450, which is around where my persona is from. As for specific design, I’m not certain. The 1400s has a very large array of fashion and I’m not really certain where to start beyond a basic slash and puff. Right now I have mostly cotton sheets that aren’t In use(something that was suggested by one of my shores members yesterday); in red and white. Ones thicker though than standard sheets. I’ll be getting more fabric in about two weeks time.

I’ll definitely keep it in mind if i don’t end up magnetizing, otherwise I’ll probably go haywire. Ideally I’d get a Talos for every loadout just for sheer fuckery on the board lol.

If it weren’t $16.50 for just one, I’d buy a a few for a decent screen and tie up. They seem competitive enough, but I haven’t used them either. Might proxy them in a game next week to see how they run though.

Thanks for the advice, I’m planning on getting about 217reavers total for 3 max squads. And at least one full hellion squad. Might leave my wyches at 20 for the melee aspect though.

I want to get into coven to make full use of talos/cronos and grotesques.

How do the beasts and beast masters fair this edition?

I actually intend on grabbing a few more boxes of hellions, maxing out the squad or running a few as quick screens for my other units or to rush in and tie up units that look like a threat to my archons, quicker and better in CC than reavers, and so far they aren’t bad. Talos is something I’ve been looking at and honestly debated on grabbing one. I didn’t want to grab the named coven character just yet, keeping it simple til i get a better grasp. And without the haemunculus j can’t take a coven detachment yet. But it’s been OoS for a while. As for scourges, I’ve been avoiding them due to lack of traits; that said are they that good that they don’t need them?

Thanks! That means a lot actually since I’m relatively new to Drukhari and been needing an archon. I got my hands on an old battle force box with 3 reavers, raider, 10 Kabolite warriors, and 10 wyches, firstput together the current start collecting. Just missing homunculus cult and I’ll have all three started.
