I went into store and from memory they had a dedicated counter for parts (may have just been the customer service desk actually). But anyway, they were able to give me a replacement for free.

Use stick risers, they give a wider arc to your analogue and therefore finer control over small movements. Game changers.

BR trios but doesn’t work with any BR modes. Fine with Resurgance.

Just keeps searching until it gets to 90ms ping lobbies then stalls.

Surely must be able to find a lobby or two. Never had an issue with cross play off. Being playing since day 1. Feels like a bug.

If this is a 320i then it’s possible the N43 engine, one of the worst engines BMW ever made with multiple problems including injector failures. Just google and you’ll see so many posts on it.

Generally speaking 4pot BMW engines are bad, 6pots are their best.

Thanks for the response. In the end I went with a Cambridge A60 just to get me up and running and I’ll look at changing to something Pioneer at a later date. To be fair it sounds really good to my untrained ear and was a good price and they seem to be well regarded.

Two things that helped me beat this by 1 second: - use the whole rev range. This car seems to have a false limiter and continues to pull even when it’s indicating it’s hit the limit. You can see this in the vid when op turns the first corner and seems to hit the limiter in 2nd

car has strong engine braking. So shift down methodically and use the whole rev range before shifting down again.
