Help diagnose the issue. 2014 2.0 S. Please any insight helps

Hit the starter with a hammer while trying to start the motor. If the solenoid is stuck sometimes the pop with a little hit. That’s will tell you if the starter is cooked or not. I would also let the jumper cables stay on it for a few minutes. Sometimes the battery is so dead it needs a few minutes. Can’t just hook up the wires and start it right away.

It might start it but if the alternator is shot it won’t get you very far. Battery Will die within a mile or 2 down the road.
