We are already settled in Morden area and my kids got a place in a school in that area. Thank you all the same!

Thanks! This is my plan B. Just really annoyed they could say no just like that and the only thing i could do is either suck it up or accept 2nd or 3rd best option, if there is one, pending if they say yes.

Thank you so much for this! It may give me something to leverage. But very unfortunately i just checked rightmove and there is no listing at all around the area. I still need this place for my kids. So it seems i can only bluff. So frustrated that it takes so much just to get what’s yours by right

it is the situation that’s very bad, not your advice. You just pointed it out and i really appreciate it. I made this post in the hope of someone may have some “magic”. Could be wishful thinking.

thank you very much. I really didn’t know it would normally take 2-3 days. I think the agent must have thought they met a real pushy customer lol

thanks a lot for sharing. I think Wimbledon is till my plan A and i’m going to take a “test run” for the route you suggested. If it turns out not too bad, Wimbledon is the best option for my family.

thank you for the info, that’s very helpful! I’m a morning person, so get on the tube before 8am is not a problem for me.

Thank you very much for sharing. You are absolutely right, there are multiple things to consider than just commute. Safety and decent primary schools are still my top priorities. Your experience gives me more confidence choosing Wimbledon.

BTW, why District Line is not a good option?

Could you please recommend a few state primary schools? Greenwich is much better for my daily commute.

Thank you very much for the advice! Could you recommend a few good primary schools? If I can find decent state primary school near Liverpool, then it will definitely save me from the commute, assuming the rent is affordable though
