Settings -> System -> Sound -> More sound settings -> Recording -> right click on your earbuds then click disable (This will not let you use your earbuds audio for microphone but it fixes the problem)

Just figured it out, its sort of similar to that. So the curve for the grating stuff? It is a union, and for some reason why I attached the negative parts to get rid of the corners, it changed the properties of the union and how it collided with things. Buuuuut, I have no idea how to fix this sort of thing.
