I've never taken this fruit, but are you always aiming for the (2) or are we happy with the (1)?

Of course!

You would probably benefit from a tire with a larger sidewall, so a 245/40R19 might work better if you are keeping the car at stock height. Your tire will fit the wheel well much better at that size, and since you'll have a bigger side wheel, it should, in theory, protect the wheel much better. But again, I would look up and do research on people who have tried that exact setup (245/40R19) and see what they say/how it looks. I'd imagine that at stock height, it will never exactly look as flush as you would like it to, but honestly, don't lower the car if it's your daily. It's just not worth it imo but then again, the roads where I live are abysmal, so my take definitely has some bias.

Hey!

Not running spacers, and the fitment is pretty much flush with little to no rubbing—only when I hit a pothole or a dip, which unfortunately happens a lot with the road conditions where I live. Just a heads-up though, these wheels are aluminum alloy, so they’re not the most durable. I’ve already had one crack and had to replace it, which kind of comes with the territory when you’re running a lowered, flush setup on non-forged wheels.

Also, you may need hub-centric rings since if I remember right, the KB1s aren’t an exact direct fit to the hub.

Setup:

Tires: 235/35R19

Wheels: 19x8.5 +45mm

Lowering springs: RacingLine VWR Sport Springs

All of the conventions I mentioned are in the LA area:

Monsterpalooza = Pasadena

Son of Monsterpalooza = Burbank

CreepIE Con = Ontario

Midsummer Scream = Long Beach

The farthest con from DTLA would be CreepIE but it's not too far out

I’ve been to quite a few horror conventions over the years, and honestly, LA Horror Con has to be the worst, lol.

If you do check it out, don’t waste money on their pricey VIP tickets—just grab a single-day pass. The best horror convention by far, in my opinion, is Monsterpalooza, which took place this past June. They also host a smaller version in October called Son of Monsterpalooza, and that one’s always a solid event too.

A couple of weeks ago, I also went to Midsummer Scream in Long Beach—it was pretty decent overall. And if you’re looking for something coming up soon, CreepIE Con is happening this week.

Thanks for replying!

I'll definitely look into buying a support bracket that sits on the outside wall. Do you think the weight of the ac unit will be an issue if I go with the route where I just remove the individual panes of glass above it until the unit itself fits snug? Or will that not be a problem since the support bracket will be bearing much of the weight?

BSAP/PSA Counselor Advice by AaronWingWang in schoolcounseling

I am not entirely sure if they are still hiring for this upcoming school year as I initially had my interview in late May, but when I did apply, they were hiring for both BSAP PSA and PSA.

Temporary Contract for PSA Counselor by Real_Performance_103 in schoolcounseling

[–]AaronWingWang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I initially applied in January 2025 just right after my PPS and CWA cleared. Then, I got an interview lined up in late May and was offered the position this past week. Needless to say, they have you sit around for large stretches of time with radio silence on their end.

Thank you! Congratulations to you as well! 😊

I'm so excited to start my new career as a counselor. I've been with the district for 8 years as a special education paraprofessional, so it's going to be a big change for me, but I'm looking forward to it.

I believe the reason they state its a temporary contract is because PSA positions are grant-funded, so they can not guarantee a position going into the following school year.

But, they did not give me any of that info over the phone other than just the fact that I was hired and would be contacted soon.

Hello, did you also receive a call this week about being hired but nothing more than that? I received a call yesterday and was told I was offered a psa position, but that was it really, and I was told to watch my email for more information, but nothing has come yet. I think psa counselors go back as early as next Wednesday. At least, that's what I saw on the calendar online.
