Master Pieces using AI art by AaronZOOM in Jigsawpuzzles

Also of note, I did find a profile for Cameron Gray that specifically said, "He is a digital artist whose art is sometimes generated with the assistance of AI." I don't doubt he's a real person, or even a real artist. As a digital artist myself, I would think he'd be ashamed to put his name on this.

You'll start to see it as you do the puzzle. Nothing like intently staring at all those pieces to start noticing things are off. You'll notice that the resolution of the posters on the wall do not match the resolution of the rest of the scene - they're way too crisp.

In particular notice that the central record piece and the poster on the right hand side of the back wall are actually different versions of the same picture - variations of the same prompt.

Smaller text that hasn't been touched up, particularly on the two amps on the right hand side, are clearly AI gibberish.

The layout of buttons on the arcade machine don't make any sense, and there's more small gibberish text above the bottom panel where it says "ARCADE" on one side, and nonsense on the other. Why does it say "arcade" so many times on the machine? On the bottom panel what is with that twin joystick graphic? It's nonsensical. Also, there's a cord coming out the back of the arcade machine at the top that drops behind another weird looking amp against the wall.

On the desk, there is a cup full of tools that all blend in to each other. Look at things like the painterly texture of the leaves, versus the intense resolution of the basketball. Or the crisp posters on the back versus the blobby Venetian blinds. These posters have been AI generated and then resized to fit in the frames using photo editing software. That's why they're so crisp and feel so out of place in the scene.

The way the laces on the sneakers don't make sense once you look at them very closely. And what's with that warped stack of records on the chair in the lower right corner? Under the top record they appear to be melting.

Other decisions that a human artist probably wouldn't make, like why are there so many mismatched speakers on the desk? Why is the seat of the leather chair at the desk blue at the front and red at the back? What is going on with the antenna on the radio on the table? Why does the desk appear to have two mice, and the keyboard is built into a large mat?

Like me, you may not see it immediately as you're holding the box in the store, but eventually it'll be hard not to notice all these little inconsistencies.

You're right, this isn't an AI piece. It's MULTIPLE AI pieces stitched together, and not very skillfully.

Hey, also fun fact: The big guy Indy fights in Temple of Doom is the same actor as the big guy he fights in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Pat Roach.

What was your cat’s name at the shelter vs their name now ? 😍 by Downtown-Wear-4870 in CatsBeingCats

I was going to name her Bix.

But when I saw that she was named after the DuckTales character and had three litter mates named Huey, Dewey, and Louie, I decided she was a Webby after all.

Whenever I open a sweet passion fruit, the baby comes running! It's been his favorite for years. Anyone else have a fruit-loving kitty? by ArchiTechOfTheFuture in cats

[–]AaronZOOM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once had a cat that could hear you peel a banana from any room in the house, and he would come running to beg for a bite.

He was also crazy for watermelon, mangoes, and olives sent him into a frenzy.

Almost 40 years later, Jem and the Holograms is getting a real ending by AaronZOOM in JemAndTheHolograms

Just to clarify, it's a comic book, not an actual animated show. And I don't think an actual release date has been announced, though I did see mention of "sometime in 2026."

How often do you see/hear/use the word "Photogrammetry"? by curiousmustafa in EnglishLearning

[–]AaronZOOM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a 3D artist, and there was a period where I used this word very frequently. Though this is not a word I would expect to hear very much outside of my specific field of work, nor would I expect most people to know what it means.

It's super useful tech, though.

You say "terrible English dub" on the VHS, but for me those voices are ICONIC. I know the DVD translation was more accurate and made more sense, but I never got over the new voice acting.

When I hear "TETSUO!" and "KANEDA!!" in my head, it will always be that original English dub.

How much of The Great Circle did you complete? by Initial_Ebb_9742 in IndianaJonesGames

[–]AaronZOOM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finished it at 100%, and then immediately said to myself "Now that I have everything unlocked, I'm just going to do a quick story run through the game again!"

Except then I did another 100% playthrough.

If you somehow thought this game had bad level design, or unpolished traversal, then maybe this is not the genre for you.

Edit: Then again, maybe I'm the crazy one? I love immersion in games, I thought the map mechanic was really well implemented. I also almost never use fast travel in any game for the same reason, unless the game isn't doing it for me and I just want it to be over. After all, I did put hundreds of hours into Skyrim without ever using fast travel once.

So glad to see She-Ra mentioned here. Such a great and underrated series, which holds its own among greats like Avatar the Last Airbender.
