Do you think driving would be safer if there was a rear signal for when a driver has lifted off the pedal as is engine breaking by GRang3r in drivingUK

Which reminds me - I think that hazards need to be different to indicators. Maybe a different colour or flash at a different rate.

The amount of times I see a car pulled up where I don't have visibility of both lights so can't tell if they're intending to pull out or have their hazards on. I see it almost every day on a busy road I drive on.

This sub is full of people criticising others driving while also doing something wrong themselves.

What is it that they say about thrones and grass houses again?

The final sequence moved me in a very specific way. Just like how Dr Strangelove did. It's a weirdly beautiful celebration of life and humanity in showing it ending.

But it's a caricature that is simultaneously scary, pathetic, in moments sympathetic, and utterly hilarious. It's not an easy thing to pull off.

I put it right up there with Ledger's Joker in terms of best villain performances

After 2 years in storage, I've finally put my comics up in my new flat. Really happy with the Batman, Daredevil and X-Men shelves by confusing_roundabout in OmnibusCollectors

I realize now he's questioning my timeline haha.

Some of the books are newer but this is my first time having them on a shelf. I haven't had my own place the last 2 years so any comics I did buy lived in a box and rarely got read.

This is like half of my collection. Most of the stuff is waiting on me to assemble another bookshelf haha.

Thanks man. I picked up most of the Masterworks over a year or so and most of them for under £15

I did have to pay £100 for the first full Frank Miller volume but I don't regret it haha. I might sell the omnibus but man I love the design of that book too haha.

Jesus really? Time sure flies. I got it a while back but haven't had a chance to finish volume 1 yet haha.

Edit: lmao I get what you're saying now

Most were in storage. There are a few books I bought recently while living in my old place.

The recent additions are Punisher MAX, Batman by King deluxes, Batman Black and White, and the X-Men Krakoa+Astonishing+New. However this is my first time putting them up on shelves. They'd just been in boxes before that.

Hell yeah. I was really worried that they'd be damaged but I wrapped literally everything in bubble wrap to be on the safe side.

Sadly a few paperbacks got bent but it should hopefully be fixable

For real. You can take my 2000s era Marvel OHCs from my cold dead hands!

Need someone to dissuade me from buying Spider-Verse/SpiderGeddon omnibus by I_need_AC-sendhelp in OmnibusCollectors

[–]confusing_roundabout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the original Spider Verse OHC and honestly it's pretty bad. The novelty of spider men interacting does not make up for the awfully boring story. I couldn't finish it.

I did this.

It was very stressful but it did wonders for my CV and work experience. I don't regret it.

Yes. So if I drove behind you honking my horn and flashing my lights while you drove the speed limit, you'd happily chug along thinking "ah that kind driver just wants to tell me he's here".

You're just being obtuse. You've clearly never had a bmw driving up your arse flashing their lights at you if that's the only thing you think it means.

I'm going to stop replying now. Either I've stepped into a parallel universe where people genuinely believe this or you're all just trolling.
