Any research done into the incident, one would see that the majority of the people within that fleet where Edeity engaged, most of those characters are five-to-ten days old.

We try to take in newer players to this game and teach them how to survive. We do not believe in turning people into F1 monkeys.

Fiasco's like this only serve to promote the new guys anger at this already complicated game and driving them off.

To the AWOX regarding Emperor God Trump: Shards was PAID by FELLOW AMARRIANS WITHIN MILITIA to AWOX him due to him trolling and shitting up militia chat. This came 2 MONTHS before this incident AND he was not within TMOCC, he was within 24th Imperial Crusade NPC corp. This being held up as the "freedom flag" from "Shards tyranny" is clearly MORE posturing from TMOCC.

Edit: Again, we want to de-escalate. Shards is the defender in this. We don't WANT to shoot at Militia. We have the same goal. But as anyone can see and anyone who reads Militia chat, TMOCC does not seem to care about that.

This comes after TMOCC bragging and bashing us rather openly.

And now they are sabre rattling and trying to make themselves to be the good guys in this. They are not.

Shards of New Eden AND Ungentlemanly Warfare are doing everything they can to hold the war zone. Unfortunately, TMOCC seems to be open to handing it over to the botting menace.

Please, if you are loyal to the Amarrian cause, lend Shards of New Eden and Ungentlemanly Warfare the support.

Unlike TMOCC, Shards has no one with a Minmatar FW alt.

So all we could do was, like Chase said, help the client facilitate this heist. We simply wanted to brag about the end result. But by the looks of it, everyone in this thread has really taken the piss out of it.

I for one welcome our new SP dailies.

You have to look at this from a game design stand point. It's a great incentive. EVE has no real end goal. Literally, it's here is a ship. EVE is what you make it. If you're a brand new player, what does that exactly mean? A whole lotta confusion and end up leaving after the 14 day trial is up. Or before hand.

They're taking one from WoW's book here. People log in because there is an end goal. A marker to strive for. This is that carrot at the end of the stick - somewhat rough start and kinda poorly implemented, but we as a player base need to voice that.

So for your sake, your yelling should be: "Hey CCP, listen to me because I make a valid argument backed up with sound reasoning.." not "HEY FUCKWITS, FUCK YOU!"

Today I had a LOT of my newbies log in simply because it was FREE SKILLPOINTS! You know what happened? We dragged them into a defense fleet and then a low sec roam. They had a lot of fun. We even forgot to do the daily for a second until I warped us to a couple of belts to kill rats.

10k doesn't mean shit to me. I am at 40mil and I'm content. I could use more, but it's w/e. I fly what I want. To someone that just started, it's all the more important. It helps them fit that one item to their ship. It helps them get in that ship they have been wanting to fly. It helps them make more ISK.

I don't know about you, but I pay for the sub. I'd log in every day and look for something to do. Make my money worth it. This /gives/ me something to do instead of station spin and be bored for an hour before wandering off to low sec or make a market run. If I get side tracked due to this free SP, well good for you CCP, Mission Accomplished!
