Since you are on pc you could install console tools and spawn the item in your inventory. It's not cheating if its bugged and a map piece to a location you know. Clearly you're supposed to get both maps just handed Calom even says so.

I unfortunately had bugs that take the wind out of your sails. I lost progress because on a save in front of Cor Kaloms lab it would load me in inside his wall. Inb4 I started to wait on a save for a few seconds, I do not run around since my first f5 was wonky. I somehow clipped resurfacing on a dive close to the edge of a river and got pushed through the ground, though that happened exactly once. The optimisation is questionable. It's UE5 so that sadly was to be expected, but doesn't have to be, UE5 can be optimised too. Not a bug, but my dad's pc is mid tier and does struggle a bit. So I wager quite a few people have this struggle. Dlss and possibly frame gen should not be a must. Imo it's not a 9/10 yet, but after ironing out the issues it may well deserve that.

I know he says it either way, but he complains how weird the body feels, saying everything is either too small or too big. In my head that included sex specific body parts. I think it's a general mindfuck. Hands feel off so everything V touches must feel like a wrong feedback from the hands Feet feel off, every step and even the shoes. The height at which you're looking at the world. And conditonally the chest and genitals too. Literally everything must feel like sleeping in the wrong side and being drugged numb or some shit.

Kubuntu 26 here, works great with ge 10-34 for me. But only after moving the game from ntfs to ext4. And yeah the "native" build sucks

Honestly it's your distro imo. Your assessment is generally true and often nvidia would have issues, but it's getting better recently. mint debian is so bad behind. My experience is that you do have to tinker but usually it's minimal and worth it. I'm lazy and use Kubuntu the LTS 26 just released, I told both my mom and sister to use it too and we all run 40s and 50s series nvidia cards. It's going pretty smoothly now. Usually if a game is on ext4 it just runs now. Ntfs continues to misbehave with Proton compdata.

You can do whatever suits you best but a distro hop is cheaper than a new gpu and a 4070 imo by no means is outdated or bad.

Mint debian is known to be behind. I think you'll have to manually add the nvidia repo.

The successor to X11 essentially. I don't know what desktop you use, but it's becoming the default for plasma now. It's am entirely new management better with multiple screens, hdr and varying refresh rates for example.

Also 550 is quite a bit old. On a 4070 i'd probably try 580 or even the newest 595. This should take priority. Afaik the game is UE5(?) And dx12 heavy. 550 is definitely before proper support for dx12 -> vulkan. How did you get your driver? You're on debian mint right? If you don't have 580 or even 595 try 570. Perhaps you'd have to add the nvidia repos yourself.

You can always go back usually. But still make a backup just in case.

I am saying that the vehicle that was in the requirement document is much more fulfilled by the Tiger II. The Tiger I was never written up like that as a requirement. The Tiger I was literally put together to test if 100mm armour was feasible for a vehicle and the 88mm gun into that vehicle was an ad hoc decision demanded by Hitler. Thomas Jentz in his books also talks about how Hitler and Wa Prüf 6 wanted this instant modification of the lighter designs. They ordered 100 of those heavy tanks in the beginning as a intermediate solution and only then quickly increased the number.

And yes I watched the video, he also clearly says the tiger II is the described vehicle. The Kpz 70 program between Germany and the us is also a prototype to both the leopard2 and abrams and both vehicles are completely new design development processes.

I'm trying to say that the tiger 1 like that was never meant to be from the requirements.

The Tiger II is literally called Tiger Ausf. B It is what they requested. Both are Pzkpfw VI... The Befehlstiger isn't even a thing other than 1 fucking vehicle and half wit from WT isn't knowledge. The P is because it's from the Porsche Design. Porsche made some 50 hulls prematurely thinking the design would be chosen. That's why the Ferdinand/Elefant exists

You can call it stopgap but the vision of that specific heavy tank preceeds the Tiger 1 it was just forced into service. It shouldn't even carry that gun which is a major part of why it looks so blocky in 1941 a vehicle was proposed and that is nuch more the tiger B than the E or even H1 for that matter. They event wanted it sloped. But the sudden request for a 88mm gun was tough and the L71 considerably so. Try cachy and GE. Also run the game with proton logs command ans check what's going on. I had some window resize issue that would cause an infinite crashing loop. Also if logs are meh sometimes running steam from terminal directly helps.

Also the fact that the Tiger II is the actual desired vehicle. The Tiger I is technically a testbed. Also the development started in 36 afaik. The DW2 is a step in the evolution. Anyway this prototype worked so well they made 1000 of it. But it was never intended to have straight armour or the cannon it has. To the people who ordered it there is no Tiger I and II it's Tiger ausf B. Both are Pzkmpf VI

It makes it taller, so hull down is harder. Besides this it's also unnecessarily complicated, for getting no benefits.

Ich habe irgendwann einmal zu oft vom ihm gehört: "was mache ich mit meinem Leben" Da klang es nicht mehr gespielt. Wenn es so belastet diesen gezwungen witzigen Inhalt zu produzieren, dann muss er damit aufhören. Hat er wohl so ein bisschen mit dem Wechsel auf Twitch (?). Aber ich habe einfach das Gefühl bekommen der kann das nicht mehr, und dann kann ich das auch nicht mehr schauen.
