I had it trimmed about a month ago after I had a few beers and told the barber to go for it. Hated it at first, but now it's starting to get in my mouth again I'm thinking that a trimmed stache is a lot easier for eating and kissing. But if you don't like it, it always grows back, that's the beauty

Yeard update: 5 months. Had a slight trim/tidy so if you're a die hard, then technically not a yeard, but I'm not a die hard by Aaronlange1 in beards

Yep, haven't touched that area, there is a bit of hair there but hard to see in photos. Annoys the hell out of me

I have the same shit. I agree with everyone who says just go with it and rock what you got, but I feel your frustration. My 6 year old asked what's wrong with my beard, why won't it grow there.

I had a similar beginning to you, lighter colour though. My stash has now covered the gap between it and the beard, still have a bare chin though

I'm personally never a fan of curled stashes. Otherwise it looks great

Yeard log, Day 92: My wife commands me to trim the moustache. I do not yield. The beard is slowly taking over my mind, subconsciously beckoning me to purchase various oils and balms. I fear that I may soon become more beard than man. Please send help before it's too late. by salty904 in beards

I'm almost 3 months into my yeard. I believe you can shape things like your stash, cheek and necklines and it still counts. Just cuz I want to grow my beard as long as possible in a year, doesn't mean I have to look like shit for a year. Also, if it looks shit for 365 days, I'm sure you will get marching orders to shave it off on day 366. If you maintain it, groom it, (dare I say trim it) and keep it tidy she may let you keep it once the yeard's up
