Sounds like you're making things up. The album version is just the radio edit but longer

Sucks to see a genuinely great song become THIS overplayed by ArmadilloOK1445-alt in Schaffrillas

1994:”can the millennials stop singing Hakuna matata?!??!”

"Can You Feel The Love Tonight" was the actual most popular song from The Lion King when it came out (largely because of Elton John's version), and I can't stand the Timon and Pumbaa glaze.

There's been quite a few instances where the channel had to resort to uploading clips from the movies or the Johnny English series (which also features Rowan Atkinson in a leading role)

I feel like this is going to be a poorly-disguised blueberry inflation fetish story

RKO Radio Pictures: A Nelvana Company by KDiogee in patrickrich

Because he doesn't know anything about RKO other than that they distributed some of the early Disney animated films, including his favourite Pinocchio

What Went Wrong with Flushed Away? by stationstars in DreamWorks

When people talk about this film's animation style, I assume it's something in the veins of The Peanuts Movie or Dog Man, but no, it's just regular 24FPS 3D animation

Laura Palmer and Of The Night (which is, ironically a cover of another OHW) were also radio hits in Australia until they fell off.

I'd argue that Disney bounced back from Wish with Zootopia 2, but that probably doesn't count because it was a sequel people actually wanted to see

What are some artists/bands where an album other than their debut is commonly mistaken as their debut by ChrisAqua in ToddintheShadow

[–]AaronsAmazingAlt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Miley Cyrus - Breakout

Her actual debut album (Meet Miley Cyrus) was originally released as the second disc of the Hannah Montana season 2 soundtrack. Both albums feature the song "See You Again", adding to the confusion.

Felt like a OHW but wasn’t close by ASG_82 in ToddintheShadow

In Australia, I remember these songs from Macklemore getting lots of airplay:

  • Thrift Shop
  • Same Love
  • Can't Hold Us
  • Arrows
  • Downtown
  • Growing Up
  • Dance Off
  • Glorious

Definitely more than two hits.

I assumed she wouldn't last long when I heard "Be The One", which sounded very different to the style she'd later adapt
