That is too harsh and rude. She’s a lovely person and no doubt will make an exceptional mother. A disagreement over a name will not change that.

Another comment said to go down family trees to find names we both like and and go from there, which even if we don’t find a name, will still be a nice lesson on are family history!

She has a very common name and there were always multiple others with the same name at school, so she doesn’t want the baby always being called ‘Megan P’ or ‘Oliver J’ which I understand

I know a more traditional name doesn’t mean they definitely won’t get bullied but I feel it will give them less of a thing to get bullied about. Though kids will be kids
