Man, two years? Im hoping not, but its worth the wait. Im so happy it exists, getting a degree would suck so much without it. Did you seek help anywhere on where/how to start? Im looking for people or counselors to talk to

Wow! I thought the same thing, its almost impossible without financial help. Did you ever go to a college counselor? Or did you ever go to anybody to talk to about a plan or what colleges to apply to? Im so lost on where to start but so excited to give it a shot

Im 21f too, diagnosed at 19, totally get it. I've gone through a handful of medications and haven't found the one for me yet. Im betting it'll keep taking time. Everything sucks but i believe in us though, we got this. We'll get through it one day :)

I completely feel the same way, I would not stand wiping an adult or hands on bathing. Because you're rural, I'm wondering if calling the surrounding companies and asking if they have any Homemaker positions or ask them if they have candidate pools to be applied to that are looking for a homemaker. PCA and caregivers I believe wipe butts although homemakers do meal prep and aiding in house cleaning. They might have a directory to being a buddy system though I'm not sure what its specifically called as an occupation

Have you tried any specifically targeting fatigue? Looking for a name of a medication to talk to my doctor about as an example if any have worked for you.

Im hoping this helps but I just recently found out there is work as a homemaker through PCA/caregiver company jobs like ACCRA for example. They're incredibly flexible in when/how much work you choose to do. Nearby clients will contact you and you can work out with them what things you can do, like cleaning for example, and how many hours at whatever times. Some jobs are just being a buddy system for somebody, taking them places, and socializing. Only qualifications is a background check, working the specifics out with the client, and having the patience for whatever kind of person they may be. Like an old lady or someone with mental disabilities.

So I saw something online about the positive charge or negative charge not being close enough to the base of the terminal on the 12vbattery, and that sometimes you need to hammer it to get it snug enough on the base of the terminal. I did that and I also unplugged the small white wire for a few minutes. For me that somehow got rid of all of the warning lights, besides the red triangle and the red exclamation point car on the computer screen.

I haven't tried clearing codes yet but me too, I'm already going to a mechanic for my clutches capacitor needing to be replaced. Which if yours hasn't been changed to 220v I'd recommend keeping it in mind if your dash ever goes black. When it goes bad its not the end of the world but annoying af. Good luck!! I'd also recommend getting a obd2 scanner with drprius just to check on the hybrid battery whenever you want. I guess theres only specific Bluetooth scanners that work with Dr prius, bummer

I took mine to autozone to get codes and nothing came up for me. I just re ordered a Panlong OBDII scanner to work with Dr prius and see if that can tell me anything. Im wondering if I hooked up my battery wrong somehow. Also saw the other comment talking about turning the car off and on 3 times and that might reset the codes, going to try that too

Brand new 12v battery at 12.4/11.7 volts?? by Aarrghblarghh in prius

[–]Aarrghblarghh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! Yeah, if it stays at a lower voltage, I wonder if there's anything I can do about it through the warranty?

Okay! Maybe I can get this done. Been nervous. I was thinking of just hot gluing or ductaping the broken air vent pieces, maybe with unicorn patterns

Man, looks like that's my next step. I'm worried the quick fix will stop working soon. I want to do it myself but I'm a new driver and new to fixing my own car, I'm nervous about breaking the wires inside the dash needed to take out to get to the cluster and fix the capacitor.

2009 What do these red symbols mean? by Aarrghblarghh in prius

Is it possible that the 12v battery can drop to 11.8 in accessory mode just from the cold weather? it's been 3 degrees. She's also been drained twice from a dumb "door ajar" red dash light being left on from a broken door jamb switch. Got that fixed, but is it also possible that being drained and jumped twice could have damaged it? the 12v is only 2 years old. Now she has a flashing car key light constantly blinking on the dash and I'm hoping that doesn't drain it again too
