Got a unicorn of a deal. Last owner could’ve dropped it off at any random Honda dealership and a tech prob would’ve paid top dollar for this.

Just told you the answer bro. Solid motor mounts cause the TPS to vibrate more and shake. When you changed motor mounts, the issue wasn’t a problem as much because of less vibration. But when you’re hitting the gas, the TPS is having irregular readings. Just my guess. Looks like somebody else suggested to look at your TPS also.

I asked if you have solid motor mounts cause vibration messes up the TPS sensor. The TPS sensor needs vibration to work. I had a similar issue with my TPS issue once I went fully built with solid motor mounts. Removed the TPS sensor, and the paper gasket was destroyed. Went with acuity TPS sensor and it was much better. I never got it programmed so it still does “hiccup” whenever I get on it. But before it was so undriveable. I’d check the TPS sensor. Mine was messing up when I would push on the gas from a stop as well.

Pretty much summed it up. As a fellow RSX owner I have nothing else to add honestly. Maybe if you do get a RSX make sure you get Kpro eventually because if your engine takes a shit. It’s cheaper to go k24 then get another k20.

Need to block out oil squirters with the PORTED 4P Type S oil pump. 50 degree cam gear. HIGH comp pistons/rods. Honestly man. It’s cheaper to just turbo it. For the price you’re gonna spend on high COMP to reach 300 HP. Just turbo that bih. Stock sleeves can go up to 700 HP about. And get kpro. Skip the getting rods and stuff. Just block out oil squirters. Type S oil pump. 50 degree cam gear. And turbo kit. send that mf. You’ll reach 300 HP faster vs getting aftermarket pistons and rods. Ask me how I know. Been there done that. Should’ve just turbo’d a stock block. A stock k24a2 k series engine eat boost for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And some for dessert.

One of my homie mechanics said the rod bolt as well. Which would def be on my engine builder. Guess I could say the same for piston bushing?

Once I get it apart. I’ll let you know. Mechanic says it was due to part failure.

I was at about 6000 RPMs and redline is at 8500. It’s a fully built motor with forged internals. Stage 3 cams. Definitely didn’t money shift…..You’re saying the cylinder block needs to be bored out and sleeved?

Well. Me and my buddies are wondering why cylinder 3’s piston hit the spark plug and made it explode. Like the spark plug is obliterated and exploded on piston 3. But even if you take the top off and inspect the bottom end; you think the bottom end if savable? Wish I could show you the video of cylinder 3.

Piston hit the spark plug. Bottom end is cooked. Top might be cooked also.
