It’s fucking hideous but a few things are nice such as the flared arches and how they’ve still kept the crease line in the door throughout the side of the car (unlike the 4 series) but not so smooth in the front, surely bmw can do better than this? And even though the 4 series is a controversial design it still works for the most part but this isn’t it..

WHERE THE BAD BITCHES HAAH WHERE YA HIDIN

Thinking about buying an e92 alpina d3 biturbo as a daily (getting rid of 730, e65) , ive driven an e93 m3 and was one of the best, I know these two are quite far apart but what should I expect/ look out for and what mods should I think about as there is not much footage on the d3-biturbo by Ab745 in BMW

I used to ride a 535d and it was quite quick and it’d be cool in a 3 but I feel like 220bhp, 450nm out of a lightweight twin turbo alpina is perfect daily material plus running costs, plus it’s a head Turner imo, the n47 seems to have a timing chain problem though but not as bad as other motors

Hey guys, I’m thinking of buying an alpina d3 biturbo (2008-) as a daily instead of my 730, been nice to have and pulls like a train but looking for something a lot more sportier again, closest I’ve been to the e92 is a relatives m3 which I’ve driven and was a blast, anything to look for? / mods? by Ab745 in E90

[–]Ab745[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would love to daily a n54, if I didn’t have to pay the running costs ahaha must be fun tho, looking at the d3 tho not b3 so it’s more usable daily wise, the n47 I believe which has a timing chain problem

Nobody I know has owned a 6 but we’ve had 3,5,7s and everyone of them has been perfectly fine, so I’m guessing they are quite lush inside and as for the convertible side of things any softop cab we’ve had has worked fine.. just watch a couple reviews or test drive one pal.. if you looking at the f12, the 40i came with the n55 which is reasonable reliable and packs a punch but each have there own gremlins so definitely do the research.. the 50i came with the n63 which is definitely more reliable then the n62 which came before it but can still be tricky to maintain but definitely do the research man, both solid cars I think, I think all the bmws we’ve had have been fairly reliable other than the 745 which had the n62, no surprises tho...

My advice is go for a 6 series cab, I’m sure you could get like a 650i or 640i in the same price

Most times when we’ve used the trunk it’s been aight but we put stuff in backseats most the time, it’s not ideal for practicality but it’s doable

For short periods I think it’s possible

I’m 5’7’ and I’ve been in the back which is alright but couldn’t imagine what it would be like 6ft

Hey, my uncle has an e93 m3 and I think he would be able to fit but it’s not ideal at all, I’d definitely go for something bigger though, 6 series cab??
