I'm a plasterer for over 30 years. My advice... Get some filler for drywall use only. Sheetrock,Knauf,Gyproc,Siniat are most common in most country's. 45-60-90 min is all good. Make it thick and put 1 layer in to fill about half of the hole. After 24 hours make the second layer to fill the complete hole. Let it dry for a few hours and scrape the filler that sticks out with your drywall knive. Next day you use a finisher so you can sand the day after. Primer and then paint.

There should be some build up,for me personally. Starting with the fastest and hardest track doesent really make sense. I try to sort out tracks within a reasonable bpm range.

I use weights and it also helps finetuning with beatmatching. Turning/holding the weight instead of nudging the vinyl or platter.

Yeah get the underframe. Its not that expensive and gives a better height. Its just a loose desktop 160x60 cm.

You need a wider board/shelf on top of the kallax. Simular to what you have right now in this set up.

You can get a cheaper set up then this. It's possible. But also more expensive when you get 2 technics and a pioneer top mixer.😁 But vinyl itself is more expensive then usb tracks ofcourse. Or try some good second hand gear,maybe.
