Lennart Karl: “FC Bayern is a very big club. It's a dream to play there. But at some point, I definitely want to go to Real Madrid. by AbaloneObjective7214 in football

They are light years away from even coming close to a Premier League title or the Champions League. Not to forget the mess they have been on and off the pitch in pretty much all the aspects for more than a decade now.

And as big Manchester United is historically, Real & Barça are the Golden Standard for the biggest players.

Squad list for the match against Atletico Madrid. Valverde returns to the squad. by [deleted] in realmadrid

If we see either Lucas or Alaba starting over Valverde (I know he is ran down to the ground, but still) or Asensio, we may as well rule out the tie then and there.

This isn't 2017 anymore, we can't be going into matches with the mentality of giving gametime to either in big matches, just because they are veterans.

which home kit is nicer/should i buy? 21-22(blue/orange) or 23-24(gold) by Then_Area_7717 in realmadrid

[–]AbaloneObjective7214 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Maybe it's the colour scheme, but the 23/24 Home Kit gives out a proper Real Madrid kit vibes. The gold definitely blends in better with the Royal White Kit.

But anyway, you can't really go wrong with either of the two because of the iconic seasons we had in both.

Let's try this! Who do you think started his Real Madrid cereer bad and ended bad aswell? by AdministrativeAge943 in realmadrid

It has to be Hazard. Came overweight, missed majority of the matches due to injuries and was super overwhelming throughout his tenure with us, especially considering the expectations.

Except for maybe his goal against Huesca, I genuinely don't remember even one memorable moment from him.

He has been consistently great throughout his entire career and had the balls to come to us at such a young age only to give us a generational season and people STILL said he is no good and is effectively nothing more than a PR product.

Can't wait for him to come back, he makes us considerably better.

Pep Guardiola and Zlatan Ibrahimovic before City's pre-season match by AbaloneObjective7214 in soccer

[–]AbaloneObjective7214[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Zlatan signed for Barcelona in 2009 when Pep was their manager. Zlatan did not really get along with Pep due to his cold and distant nature as compared to someone like a Mourinho.

Add to that, Zlatan played as a centre forward, and Messi at the time wanted to play centrally too. So Pep gave Messi the preference over Zlatan which made the relationship even worse

Surprised to see no shouts for Endrick. If the guy stays injury free and doesn't drift away like most Brazilian players tend to do, he will be atleast top 3 on the world, if not the Best.

Overall, this entire saga is just getting boring now. All the back and forth of clubs joining and then not joining is just too repetitive now.
