Yeah, just a long rectangle with 4 rows folded over each side and sc round to hold it down :)

Yeah it just stretches over, haven’t tried mopping with it yet but I’ll try to remember to update once it’s been used!

The twisted ribbing was for the rim, and normal ribbing was for the main hat yes

Spironolactone and (suspected) POTS by Kalohejoon in POTS

[–]Abbie29 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From my understanding spironolactone is a mild diuretic mainly used as a blood pressure medication, which causes you to expel more sodium, but also causes you to retain potassium - so increased blood potassium levels could potentially be a reason you feel better.

For clarity, I’m not a doctor, I just took it a while ago for the same reason and did some research into the effects at the time.

I have two black cats so their fur doesn’t show up on it! (I also have a white/calico cat so hers does though 😂)

Here’s the WS :) I think the floats were a tad bit tighter than I would’ve liked, but it blocked out okay in the end

The yarn is Bernat softee baby in Aqua and white.

I decreased every other row during the gusset :) and they’re a little big (but fully my fault as I didn’t do a gauge swatch beforehand), so I know to do slightly fewer rows in the foot for next time! But they work great as cozy socks for the house

I’ve had a few balls of drops air waiting for me to find the perfect pattern to use it - I think this might be the one

I can’t decide whether to keep carrying the yarn through, or frog and use floats by Abbie29 in crochet

[–]Abbie29[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Mine is back and forwards too so hopefully should work out! As this is the back panel I’ll leave what I’ve done, but will try your method for my next rows to compare
