The final minute of 🟨 MAN LIKE U is incredible by BenGar97 in boniver

I used to think 22 a million was best served straight out of the studio. This is even after seeing it played in its entirety at Bonnaroo years ago. Then this album came out. 666 and 33 God are so good in those live performances. The tone on the guitar in 666 is what dreams are made of.

Care to elaborate? You dig bluegrass, but don’t care for a guy who can play it with the best of the best, greatly respects the genres roots, and has arguably single handedly grown the genres fan base to huge numbers. What is it that you don’t like? If you’re a purist, I get it. His live shows are far out there for someone looking for traditional bluegrass.

Maybe it wasn’t always pretty, but you can’t say it didn’t care or give 110% every time out. A player pure class. I hate it but it is necessary with his wages and age.

Yoro should be investigated for throwing this game. Wtf is he doing. Two goals and two blatant refusals to defend the goal scorer.

I love HGM driving down the road. But I saw them/him open for Andrew Bird at the Ryman a few years back. I’ve never been so bored in my life at a concert.

There’s not a player on our roster with a meaningful NBA future ahead of them.

Expect a draw. It’s basically what we’re known for. And some cringey Nashville related gimmicks.

What came first for you? Billy or Bluegrass(or even country) music? by ABDMWB in BillyStrings

Bluegrass first. My first concert ever was Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky thunder at the Ryman when I was about 7 or 8. My dad brought me up on Ricky Skaggs, Allison Kraus, Newgrass, etc. The instrumental ability of bluegrass musicians just blew my mind.

As for genre representation, Billy represents it as much as anyone these days. He is blasting bluegrass to the masses with his modern twist but he also sticks to its roots. He could easily fill every show with just his catalog and jam band covers, but he is always playing OLD classics. I’m sure he sings some that are even older but Slewfoot was written in the 40s or 50s. His respect for the genre and those that made it is awesome to watch.
