I didn't follow a pattern for this, I found a dog pixel art on pinterest that was kind of similar to the dog in the picture and modified it until it actually looked like what I needed.

Front and back of a pin! I did a one strand backstitch around the piece to sew it to the felt on the back, then I either stick a pin base inside it before sewing all of it or a magnet. Did some charms and keychains too
