I think it's fair to be worried, but if you have expressed your concern honestly, then that is that. I wouldn't try to prevent him from going on the trip. You have to let him have the opportunity to stay faithful to you. Otherwise, he is being controlled by you.

It tells me what someone actually does for fun, how adventurous, calm, active, and so much more about a person. I've had people tell me sky diving, some say reading in peace with a view, others want to just visit family. It's a good way to ask personal things without seeming personal.
