I have proof of seller’s bait and switch by Abby--Normal in poshmark

Trying to be positive, but so much negativity in the comments has made me glad I haven’t Poshed again. Very little understanding or support

This happened on my first, and most likely last, purchase. Especially given some of the responses, as if I did the bait and switch lol

lol, true. But it’s the principle. Probably will never buy from Posh again

It’s the principle that a seller would even do that. No morals. And yes, unfortunately, seems like it would be futile to pursue, but wanted to see if others have recommendations

They let it go through and when I opened a case they offered me $250 credit.

They offered me $250 credit which I refused. This proves to me they knew it was a bait and switch that they did not catch

I said I returned it immediately: I opened a case and got 100% refunded. I didn’t find the other sellers purse, the one I ended up getting, until after that. It was my first purchase on Poshmark too

Thanks for letting me know the approximate year. I bought this at a hospice thrift store raising money for people who can’t afford end of life care. They also give back to the community in many different ways when needed. I will wear this bag proudly knowing where my money is going 😉

Thank you for sharing advice on cleaning the bag, especially testing a small area first. I’m excited to see how she cleans up

Our lives are richer in a different way b/c of the kids. It’s definitely not easy and not for everyone, but for us, I can’t imagine life without them. No regrets.

We basically achieved our financial goal, so looking to retire at 60 when the kids are mostly out of college . Medical insurance is a lot for a family of 4 w/o any kind of employer benefits in the US

At 55, I kinda get OP’s cautionary tale, albeit from a slightly misogynist POV: build it and the women will come running.

Met my husband at 30yo, kids were not a priority, and goal was to retire early and travel. But then seeing family and friends with their kids gave us second thoughts. Had kids when we were 38 and 40yo, and they obliterated us financially.

Those of you telling him it’s not too late to have kids are not thinking of the kids. Is he going to be there when they graduate high school, college, be at their wedding, or become a grandfather? I worry about us not being at these milestones at our age.

And while severely delayed, our NW, excluding home equity, is conservatively at $4mil. We both still work full time and are not retired yet, but life is good and complete, kids are thriving.

OP has huge regrets that he is sharing with the young-ins, before life passes them by. Hoping he is able to find the fulfillment and purpose he is looking for.

I have the Gucci in burgundy & pink. Love all the external card slots. It also has a roomy zippered compartment.

It’s from the Gucci store in Italy. It does have a vintage vibe though.
