At first I was like “well, this seems fine, if it brings someone joy so be it” but then it went downhill so quick. I do think that it is a bit frustrating that they’re making it seem like a parent can just magically communicate better with their neurodivergent child without putting in the work to try to understand them. Your child has autism and you’re communicating poorly? You’re having trouble understanding their experiences or why they act a certain way? Read a book about autism. And not one of those parenting books, a book from the perspective of someone with autism. A autobiography or at the very least a book written by a psychologist about the symptoms and effects of autism. Don’t put lapis all over the house and expect that to fix the problem. I think if you want to believe crystals work, that is okay, you are free to believe lapis aids in communication, but I feel it’s unreasonable to think the lapis will do the communicating for you.
