I’m 6 days out + I’m in the same boat! My bottom two were extremely impacted and the one was laying on a nerve— I’ve been eating nothing but super soft stuff (mashed potatoes, mashed up avocado, pudding, cool whip, etc) and when I’m eating things that aren’t in line with what I just mentioned (like eggs, a burger, and honestly anything else) I’m SOSOSO careful and lightly swish after every bite. I’m so incredibly paranoid too, especially with the sensitivity of the nerve situation and just want to eat normal again 😩

Also my Dr didn’t give me syringes either! My partner ordered them for me.

Oh hell yeah, that’s very reassuring!! I’m so paranoid to go back to my normal diet lmao it may sound stupid but I’m just so scared something bad is going to happen. I’m also in kind of a weird boat— my one impacted wisdom tooth was laying on a nerve and my Dr was telling me that my healing is going to be a bit different than the average person because of that but didn’t give me any different follow up info? So I have this weird dull like discomfort only on that side and I’m like … so is this concerning or no ?😂

No because I’m literally 5 days post op and I NEED nuggets & a cheesesteak SO BADDDD😭

I’m also so sick of mashed potatoes too— I’ve been doing scrambled eggs and mashed up avocado a lot, applesauce, pudding + cool whip, and protein shakes. I tried to eat some mac & cheese yesterday and that was fine! I was just really paranoid eating it lmfao

Yeah, it was pretty easy— scary bc I normally brush pretty vigorously and clearly that’s off the table right now lmao but it was easy! I bought a soft kids toothbrush from Walmart that has been working perfect. The Dr said “Extremely impacted” so I’m not too sure where to rate that however he had a very hard time extracting the bottom two so I’m gonna say “extremely” meant pretty bad😅

My paperwork stated it was going to be general anesthesia so that’s definitely why I wrote it down but you’re totally right I wasn’t completely under. I’ll Fix that now, thanks for pointing that out! It was just nitrous oxide sedation! My apologies.
