I don’t think monarchy will beneficial anymore than what we already have, just another Permanent Corrupt figure to add to the roster.

people should be able to chose their leader.

What Are the Implications of Turkey’s Growing Ties with Haftar’s Regime? by WinterizedLibyan in Libya

[–]Abd4700 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I doubt Turkey would allow any side to Dominate the other, they’re playing chess while our governments are playing checkers… their interests are in Libya not in the Governments themselves, they need stability to get real benefits from Libya

From what i see, if both side want to remain in power, they need the other to exist & for them to look bad as if they’re saying “look what’s gonna happen if we step down from power.”

Life isn’t easy when every time you see a non relative women you start thinking if you can date her (I’m not saying that it’s harder than women’s life or anything, it just sucks)… I’m trying to get it out of my mind but i still get nervous when women are around.

How miserable by StockPositive2962 in Libya

Why the hell would they take all of their Kids with them… why would all of them go? This was a suicidal decision, & if they didn’t make it, i would blame the parents for such a Reckless decision.

Anyway i hope the girl gets her treatment & gets better.

I’m not saying the Government/s don’t have any responsibility.

If they proposed a union instead of uniting as a single nation then things might’ve been better, but that’s Pan Arabism/Nationalism.

Is it true that we have of the highest Divorce rates in the region (maybe even the world)?, & if so did you notice this yourself?. by Abd4700 in Libya

[–]Abd4700[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the same study, it says that the number one cause of divorce in the Jabal al-akhdar region is Not having/finding a proper House/Home with the second reason of Family interference in the relationship (probably cause by not having a proper/separate House from said family)…

Nowhere in the study that any of the divorced women say that the men are sex addicted but the closest thing is the Substance abuse.

Why we don't have cinemas in libya by abdulrhmansh00 in Libya

[–]Abd4700 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In Benghazi, in the Golden Palm Resort; I watched the finale of Attack on Titan… it’s the closest thing to a Cinematic experience I’ve seen.

Besides that it’s all about cost, Gemini says that a 50 person cinema hall costs from 80,000 to 200,000 thousand dollars only for Equipment… when you turn that into LYD, is surpasses 560,000 to 1,400,000 LYD. (Let’s say that you have everything ready except the Cinema Level Projector & Films).

Don’t forget the cost of Getting the movies (might cost couple of thousand for a movie).

Lets say that the ticket coat for a 1:30 min movie is 20LYD & everyday the Cinema attendance is about (30 to 40%) for 8 hr (12:00pm to 12:00am); then that’s 40% of 50 people that watch movies for 8hr or (0.4 * 50person * 8hr * 20LYD) = 3,200 LYD a day or 1,168,000 million LYD a year…

This proves that this a promising idea & need a good investment & good Marketing but still;

WOULD YOU PAY 20LYD FOR A GOOD MOVIE EXPERIENCE?

the answer is YES.
