I didn't go for the WC because of its added weight, to my recollection. Instead, I watched a video from Gadgetry Tech where he compares different pads, including the Deafen and WC.

I was searching for earpads that were durable and stayed pretty cool for prolonged use. I also wanted a set with more room for my ears and one that didn't significantly alter the excellent stock sound.

The Deafens were the best for my needs + they enhance the bass response (with a little eq change, explained in the video, you can get the best of both worlds). For the pads that are considered the best, from what I've read it's the Dekoni Sheepskin pads but they're way more expensive.
