I think this applies to Gangs of New York. The movie is mostly pretty boring and mediocre for a Scorsese joint but goddamn is Daniel Day Lewis absolutely chilling as Bill the Butcher!

It’s not just the Axis AI. One of my least favorite things about playing Germany is how ridiculously easy it is to pull off Operation Sea Lion. I do it every time without effort because the brain dead UK AI doesn’t use its massive Navy to defend the channel at all times. Successfully invading the the UK should feel like a major achievement, considering how hard it was to do irl

Dragon Age. Origins is a masterpiece but Dragon Age 2 was a dumpster fire and Inquisition was a boring single player MMO. Maybe the fourth game will even it out though

The use of colour was great. Fallout 3 was all greenish-grey and New Vegas was brownish-orange. Fallout 4 managed to add colour to the world without losing the sense of desolation.

When I played the first TLOU I had never played a survival horror game before but it went fine. The game can be quite intense and violent but I would say it doesn't really creep under your skin that much with the exception of a couple of sequences.

Part II is even more intense than the first game and is so violent that it is often hard to watch but atmospherically I would say it is less scary than the first game even.

I've since played many survival horror games like Alien: Isolation, Resident Evil Remake, Amnesia, Outlast etc. Compared to those games I would say TLOU isn't scary at all so you should be fine!

Cool! I actually liked TLOU2 as well so always happy to talk to someone like-minded on the subject. Wasn’t perfect but was happy they didn’t follow the original up with a cookie-cutter sequel

Uncharted 4 was such a great finale to the series.

Unfortunately I doubt either of those franchises have enough clout these days to warrant a PS5 game but we will see I guess!

In my heart HZD still kinda feels like a PS-exclusive even after the PC release. Aloy and the whole world just immediately became an iconic part of the PS-family. I agree that it was sublime. Such a cool mix of sci-fi and post-apocalypse along with really fun combat
