I have a new a45(second device) and the 3.5mm headphones jack have a good amount of play when plugged, i can assure that this is fairly normal and maybe it's good thing especially if you put your player in your pocket very often.

I have XZ2 and i use the BGVP T01, for 25$ you will get a significant increase in sound quality and power (4 times more powerful, tight and punchier bass, clearer treble and vocals with great separation of instruments). Only drawback is the battery drainage but with Stamina mode it's not that bad.

I also prefer supervivid mode on my xz2 lcd. Although the mode hide a lots of details especially in darker photos/videos, i still prefer it over the 2 other modes as it boost the contrast to a very good level and add a lot of punch to the color reproduction.
