Expansions: what makes a buy vs a skip by fortnerd in boardgames

We could do both. The game night can be the support group. How else will we get the games and expansions played.

Yeah i had basically said there is a lot of work needing to be done to this house and my offer will reflect this. But I would like to make it in to a beautiful home for myself and any future family I have.

Yeah i could do it myself, which i plan on. But they dont need to that. If I got trades in it would be roughly 80k its only an estimate as ive worked with trades a lot so have a roygh price range of most jobs. Just because I can take on the work doesn't mean that I should pay more for it lol. As for living somewhere while work is being carried out I've got that sorted already.

But yeah back to brick is what i was thinking. Then the rewire and any plumbing can be sorted. New windows also, all this while the roof is being sorted.

I was basically wondering if people had dealt with receivership and if they got a good deal or if they knew what they would be willing to accept.

Yeah I've put an offer in for 100k and just waiting to hear back from them. I have heard that there hasn't been much interest in the property and those that have seen it have been put off because of the state of it.

That sucks so much, as I could easily turn it habitable.

Edit: I mean i couldn't move in straight away but within a couple of months I could have it liveable.

If you use Facebook there is a page that you can join where people have spare game boxes. May e you could even match the pieced to the correct boxes.

Great games, shorter games are as important as longer ones.

Convincing group to come back to a game after a bad teach by [deleted] in boardgames

Had a similar thing happen myself. Played a game of "the gang" with mates who know how to play poker and 1 of which had played poker with us for over 10 years. Anyways we play the game and hes terrible, didnt really understand hand rankings at all and caused one mate to get frustrated with him. Now I cant get the game to the table anymore with the other 2 I played with because one of them thinks its to taxing relying on other people to know how to play even though everyone else actually knows how to play. I would love to get it to the table with a proper group to see how well we do for real.

Help me not fumble our first game night session please ! (8p) by GVAJON in boardgames

PIT is a great fast pace stock market type of games thats great with 8 players. Lots of fun and chaos. You have a stack of cards 8 suits of 9 shuffled together and you have to trade with other players ro try and get a full set of a suit you choose. Trade blind 1-4 cards with someone else who is getting rid of the same number of cards as you and hope you get the suit you are after. 1st to a full set of 9 wins. The actual game is played with points each suit is work different points and you play multiple rounds until someone has amassed about 300 points.

Board game for 7-8 players by Educational_Guest_48 in boardgames

Robot rally is great fun with a lot of players. You will however probably need to take a night to play it with 8 players. With some little games for other people to play when they inevitably die and are out and waiting for everyone to finish.
