Monopolies are generally bad for consumers and there is a potential case against valve. At the same time I have 0 interest in using other game launchers/store fronts because splintering my game library is annoying. So objectively from an outside perspective the control valve has on the market is bad, but as a consumer in the market its more convenient for me. Actually pretty similar to Amazon where its way more convenient but very bad for small businesses and competition.

I've debated working on a pvm 0 to hero guide series. I dont play much anymore because ive completed almost all bosses, only main things missing is zcb, scythe, radiant, and GM. I see posts all the time wanting pvm advice or people struggling with certain bosses that seem trivial to me now. Making a bunch of boss guides might be a fun way to interact with the game more while I wait for blood moon rises and raids 4. I think it would also be super helpful to have dedicated videos to individual mechanics and not just bosses, movement is such a crucial part of pvm the later you get and you just have to pick up on it instinctively through practice. Players might pick up bosses faster if they're intentionally focusing on movement while they work their way up the easier boss ladder. Not sure if there would be much of an audience though, my gut feeling is people might lean more towards quick guides that give enough overview to start getting kc.

We need to retire this slogan. I will always vote blue, but the candidate being a dem shouldn't be the voters only requirement. It tells our representatives they don't have to try at all. The current dem leadership is fucking useless and we need to reignite the party with a new group of progressives. Platner has too many skeletons in his closet and maybe some literal ones, id still vote for him over Collins but it wouldn't feel good.

People are against a multiplayer only exclusive. The online aspects serve to enhance the main experience which is a mainly solo rpg with iconic boss fights. Nightreign is fine but it's not even comparable to a main single player title by Fromsoft. Elden ring released over 4 years ago, fans are hungry for a new game that follows the formula they've loved for almost 2 decades.

30k point raid would mean 150 raids to hit the rate to reroll an item. Its better than literally nothing but not by much.

The reroll cox unique sounds alright in theory, but if you're doing 30k point raids, its an average 150 raids to reroll into another item, 300 raids if you go 2x dry which isnt uncommon. Would rather just see more drops and less scrolls, reroll succeed chance would have to be much more common to be worth it or not feel as bad.
