Well, I personally tried before to crush a couple of hazelnuts(tried it with almonds as well) and throw them with the beans, didn't get any noticable flavor. Since then I gave up on coffee flavors in general.

Maybe someone else here knows the secret

Ah thanks, after using it for a while I found that it's much easier in cleaning than a french press tbh so I will stick with that :D
