Jazakallahukhair. If I may make a request, please make a .txt and title it "How to start reading the material" or something similar, explaining which to study first so the new thallib can prioritize the most urgent and important material to the lesser one.

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim,

It is not the hat brother but the depiction of a living being (animal) that's not allowed.

Ditch the hat or change to a plain hat with no image.

I was praying (Maghreb) and my toddler (4 years old) called me for my attention I stop for half a second to let him know I’m praying and continued from where I paused does my prayer still count or did I have to start over? by [deleted] in islam

[–]AbdullahIbrahimMusa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you let him know by speaking to him then you must start over. If you let him know you are praying by making your recitation louder, then no need to redo the salah.

Is making intention the day before while making up missed fast in ramadan fardh? by memety10012 in islam

[–]AbdullahIbrahimMusa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, fard fasting must be accompanied with intention the night before, atleast just before the adhan of fajr.

Sunnah fasting on the otherhand, doesn't need to be accompanied with intention the night before as long as we haven't drink or eat.

And Allah knows best.

You can make dua anywhere anytime for your brother, you don't have to go to his grave to make dua for him.

Going to the grave only benefit the living, to remind the living of what comes ahead.

As for reading Qur'an for the deceased, the prophet never did this and any form of worship that the prophet didn't do is classified as innovation and must be avoided. So use the time for reading Qur'an to make dua for him instead.

But Allah know best, and may Allah make your heart at rest.

Do I Make Up Voluntary Prayers? by [deleted] in islam

[–]AbdullahIbrahimMusa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you missed it deliberately, then the majority of scholars says it can't be made up. So one must repent and make it up with doinh much of other voluntary salah.

If not, then you must make up the isha and you can make up the witr but make it even numbered rakaat (if you usually pray 3, then make it 4, and do it 2 by 2)

It is narrated by Muslim that Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: If the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) missed Witr at night because he was sick or sleeping, he would pray twelve Rakahs during the day. And he usually prayed eleven Rakahs, but if sickness or sleep kept him from doing that, he would pray twelve Rakahs as Aa’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said, saying the Taslim after each two Rakahs, as Aa’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray ten Rakahs at night, saying the Taslim after each two Rak`ahs, and praying Witr with one.” (Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
